To create the trunk, first go to the admin console of the 3CX and click on "Trunks & Chat" and then on "+ Trunk".

Select Germany as the country and "Peoplefone" as the provider. You will then receive the certified peoplefone profile directly.

Give the trunk a name.

It is best to use your central telephone number as the main trunk number. You must then enter the access data for your SIP trunk. You can find these in your peoplefone customer portal in the trunk overview under "SIP Setup"

Now switch to the DND numbers tab. Add all other extensions there in E.164 format (+49).

In the next step, you define the outgoing rule. We recommend setting up the prefix with 0,+. Make sure that the trunk created is selected as the route and then save.



The outgoing rule can also be used to define which users are allowed to make outgoing calls via the trunk or whether local numbers can be dialed without an area code and whether a fixed outgoing number should be displayed via the rule.

To ensure that the phone numbers are also transmitted in the format required by 3CX, you must make a setting on the peoplefone SIP trunk. To do this, go to the trunk overview in your peoplefone customer portal and click on "Edit" for the corresponding trunk.

In the trunk, select "3CX" under Professional type and save the setting you have made.
